Commercial Applications

Roofing – siding – air ducts – walk-in coolers/freezers – transportation fleets – skylights – pipes – A/C supply lines – cold-storage warehouses – and many more

During summer months, when applied to commercial and residential building exteriors, CERAMIC COAT reflects the sun’s energy while preventing the buildup of heat through exceptional emitting characteristics unique only to ceramic insulation technology.

In winter months, it dramatically reduces heat loss by both trapping heat to form an insulating barrier and emitting heat back into the building envelope.

A typical 20 mil thick (1 coat) roof and siding application of Ceramic Coat attains a consistent 18% to 35% decrease in HVAC and refrigeration/freezer energy consumption (this is dependent upon geographic location, building and mechanical systems’ age and condition). Older buildings and systems usually experience the largest energy savings benefit from ceramic thermal barrier application.

Prevents moisture damage from condensation!

The high performance nature of CERAMIC COAT eliminates damaging moisture intrusion and dew point condensation that occurs when interior surfaces are warmer or cooler than interior ambient air.

Excessive dampness is not only a problem by itself, but also a contributor to several potentially problematic health and safety issues, such as mold, dust mites, and bacteria to name a few.

In addition, excessive heat and dampness can cause dangerous chemicals and particles, such as lead and formaldehyde, to be released from building materials into the building envelope’s interior air.
