What is Ceramic Coat?

CERAMIC COAT is a light-weight, liquid ceramic thermal insulation barrier which is applied like paint. It is a water-based one-part thermal insulation coating Class 1(A) fire rated product) manufactured in the U.S.A. by Ceramic Coat. It contains no chlorides or any V.O.C.’s, and has achieved numerous industry and environmental ratings and certifications.

Ceramic Coat contains millions of various-sized microscopic hollow ceramic beads, bonded in a special acrylic latex formula that can be applied to virtually any surface (metal, fiber, wood, concrete, masonry, siding, etc.). It is an extremely efficient thermal barrier which utilizes technology similar to the ceramic heat tiles used in the NASA Space Shuttle program.
